Getting in the door after hours
After staffed hours the building runs on a keypad. If you’ve done the one-time setup and have a booking, you’re in within a minute.
Before you start
- A booking for right now — book a bay if you haven’t.
- Your booking confirmation on your phone (that’s where the code is).
- The one-time setup done in person during staffed hours — One-time 2-minute setup during staffed hours.
1Find your entry code
When you book a bay, Whoosh sends a confirmation by email and text. Your door code is in that message.
- Open the confirmation on your phone before you walk up to the door.
- Note your bay number and start time while you’re there.
- Can’t find it? Search your inbox for Whoosh or Birdie Central, or open the booking portal and check your upcoming bookings.
The code is tied to your booking, not to you. It starts working shortly before your start time and stops when your booking ends. A code from last week won’t open the door tonight.
2Enter the code on the keypad
- Walk up to the front door. The keypad is on the door frame at hand height.
- Tap the keypad once to wake it if it’s dark.
- Type your code, then press the check mark. You’ll hear the lock release.
- Pull the door open within a few seconds and come on in.
Mistyped? Wait a couple of seconds and try again, slowly. Several fast wrong attempts in a row can pause the keypad for a minute.
3Lock the door behind you
- Let the door close all the way behind you and your group.
- Give it a quick tug to confirm it latched. It should not open without a code.
- Please don’t hold the door for anyone who isn’t part of your booking. Everyone inside after hours should be on a booking.
Your booking includes as many players as you like in your bay — but they arrive with you or use your code. Sharing the code with people who aren’t playing with you can cost you your after-hours access.
4Head to your bay
- Find the bay number from your confirmation. Numbers are on the wall at each bay.
- Lights are on 24/7 — nothing to switch on.
- Next: Load Uneekor and get the bay ready.
5If the door won't open
Run through these in order — the first two cover almost every case:
- Check the time. The code won’t work before your window opens. If you’re early, give it a few minutes.
- Check the code. Re-read the confirmation and type it slowly, digit by digit.
- Check the setup. After-hours entry needs the one-time setup done in person during staffed hours (ID, card on file, and the $100 hold). If you booked online but have never stopped in, the door won’t know you yet.
- Text us using the button at the bottom of this page. Send your name and booking time and we’ll get you in or sort out your booking.
Stop in during staffed hours for a one-time 2-minute setup — government ID and a card on file — and the doors are yours, day or night. No membership required. Independent after-hours entry is for adults 18+; junior members are welcome any hour with a parent or guardian who booked the bay and stays on site.
Still stuck? Text us.
Day or night, a quick text is the fastest way to reach a real person. Tell us your bay number and what you see on screen.
